The Challenge
Every ambitious brand reaches a moment where clarity demands evolution. What began as Kaizen Athletes — a performance-driven supplement brand rooted in continuous improvement — had already established a strong strategic and visual foundation through our partnership with the founder.
As the brand progressed toward launch, trademark considerations revealed an opportunity to think bigger. Rather than adapt within constraints, the decision was made to evolve the identity entirely — creating a name and brand capable of standing apart while supporting long-term growth without limitation.
The challenge was not to start over, but to build upon the strategic groundwork already in place and elevate it into something even more distinctive.
The Solution
Working in close collaboration with the founder, we developed Raíz — a brand designed to carry the original philosophy forward while introducing greater depth, memorability, and protectability.
While the name changed, the strategic intent remained: create a performance brand defined by discipline, progression, and credibility.
Building on the foundation established during Kaizen, we refined the identity system with renewed focus — ensuring every element, from visual language to brand structure, was engineered for scalability across packaging, digital environments, and future product lines.
